Merino wool is also very warm and keeps away odor as the fibers transport moisture. These have a lovely soft feel - almost the feel of cotton, they are ribbed and have the perfect thinness to wear with all types of shoes without a lot of bulk, yet with a lot of warmth. They are ribbed and the length hits just below the knee.
