There is nothing like a hand knit sweater. This cotton sweater vest by Nitto is so lovely and looks great layered in many different ways or worn on its own with jeans or a skirt. This hits at the hips and has a comfortable, easy fit. This hits at the hips and has a comfortable, easy fit. The tags on Nitto sweaters share who knit each piece and how long it took to make. This sweater took 35 hours to knit. We love this on its own with a black full skirt. It also looks great layered with a tee or collared shirt underneath and jeans.

Nitto focuses on the handmade. The designer, Giorgia, was a professional violinist while falling in love with fashion. She took a dive into knitting techniques at Politecnico di Milano and Central Saint Martins. She starts the design process with making the pieces herself, so that she can understand the possible optimizations within the process. Everything in her collection is hand-knit, hand-crocheted or hand sewn - and everything is produced in small batches, with a dedication to sustainability. We love Nitto pieces for the feel of the hand involved, and also the fun their styles evoke.
