We have added many beautiful pieces by Makié to our site this week. Chloe wears above the Merino wool chunky knit vest. This is great with a Pip Squeak Chapeau cotton batiste boy shirt underneath for layering. This sweater vest is super soft and cozy - it kind of hugs the shoulders and has a slight mock neck. There is also a great assortment of cashmere sweaters now in our wardrobe section, including a favorite style from last year that is being made again this season. This is the cashmere turtleneck in a heavier weight cashmere. The color is a heather grey. It is so warm and soft - and easy to wear. There are also cashmere crewnecks in a finer knit. These are every day pieces that can also be dressed up. We love the heather grey with dark denim jeans, Repetto jazz shoes in black patent and a grey coat (in particular we tried it with the Hannoh Harris Tweed grey coat and it looked stunning all together). There are also wool/cashmere cardigans that we have added - so many lovely options for staying warm and feeling cozy!
A theme of bowls <3 There are so many great combinations of things to give as gifts around the shop - we are picking things out here and there as we see them and will share them with you here :) The wonderful calendar towels have several different designs to choose from and one of them has illustrations of latte bowls. It made us then think of the Wabi bowl covers and Astier de Villatte bowls. Any combination of these pieces makes a great gift. The bowl covers are so handy and useful - and also delightful to look at. I keep one in the fridge covering a bowl of cheeses that are always in rotation. They are also great for bowls of leftovers. Shown above are the red and green gingham covers - each set comes with 4 sizes of covers. We hear lots of great comments at the shop from clients who have bought these and use them daily.
