We are back from a wonderful buying trip <3 We've been busy unpacking since we got back and can't wait to share everything with you. A few sweet pieces from Astier de Villatte. As Fall approaches, our minds turn towards shared meals around the table... hot tea in the afternoon, a celebratory atmosphere... candlelight. These thoughts are extra poignant now as Fall is indeed on its away, against all weather (at least here in the desert) indicating otherwise. It will change one day soon and there it will be! We have many exciting things arriving at the shop for the coming season including an expanded selection of Astier de Villatte ceramics, table linens and all things to make Fall tables beautiful and fun! Sharing with you a few of our favorite Astier pieces above- the John Derian & Astier coffee cups, the Adelaide collection of dishes and bowls and tea cups that are so wonderful! Setting the table with Astier is always fun because it goes with so many different styles, colors, patterns, etc. <3
Fall is coming! We've added some new Fall pieces to our online shop... there are some wonderful new things for the coming season. Beautiful indigo linen pieces from Ichi Antiquités <3 Beautiful cuts and fabrics. The skirt has a separate slip of a contrasting color to wear underneath <3 This ensemble is wonderful to wear into the cooler months as it can be worn now with a lighter shirt underneath and then with warmer pieces as the weather changes.
We have returned from a most inspiring buying trip and upon our arrival at the shop was a mountain of boxes to unpack. It has been a fun couple of days! One of our most favorite things are the red Repettos. We always get excited when Repetto decides to make a red for a season... and this red is hands down the best they've done. It is a classic cherry red in the softest goatskin. They are absolutely stunning. They look great with denim, paired with red socks (or any color for that matter!), with vintage pieces, with new... we see wearing these with everything! We could make a Forrest Gump list of all the ways we would love to wear them <3
