New additions to our wardrobe section <3 Some lovely Merino sweaters that are super soft and cozy as well as a couple new styles of Repettos <3 We have also received some fun new books and The Lissome magazine which we have added to our desk section. 

My mom and I have just returned from an inspiring buying trip for some of our Spring clothing buying. We are so happy with what we found, who we met, and the care and attention going into everything. The craft of making clothes is alive and well with a lot of genuine, passionate energy behind it. The thoughtful making process behind the scenes of the collections we carry was such a joy to touch base with again. Of course we are surrounded by it all the time at our shop, but being in person, sharing stories, methods, seeing work spaces... it all means so much. As it comes up in person, on the phone, or any which way, we will love to share the stories with you as well <3 

Right now we continue to excitedly receive and share the things we found 6 months ago and that have been in the works all this time under the care of diligent hands! It always feels like Christmas this time of year because many times we forget certain details of things we ordered months ago, and are delighted to rediscover it all in person, and at our shop.

Jettie wears the fine gauge Merino Turtlenecks from Nicholson & Nicholson. These have a great, classic fit and are super soft. The russet brown is a beautiful color and one we had a hard time naming. Jettie said it’s like a plum brown, which is true it does feel like it has a hint of plum. It ended up with “russet brown” as its description. It’s really rich and has an unusual hue that’s stunning. We love it with the navy pants. A minimal, classic look. The heather grey is also great. These can be worn with many different things. We’re imagining the russet brown with faded jeans and the Repetto jazz shoes in black patent. These are both available in our wardrobe section - you can go there to see more photos :)

Such beautiful new arrivals, worn by dear Jettie! The pieces from Manuelle Guibal are simply wonderful - cozy, soft, crisp...such great combinations to wear together. We also combined some of the new JUD pieces with these Manuelle Guibal arrivals. The bomber cardigan by JUD with the dandy pants by Manuelle Guibal are such a stunning combination. We received a box late yesterday from one of our favorite knitwear collections - JUD - and we were chomping at the bit to get it unpacked this morning. We were thrilled opening the box ... all that we remembered when we ordered 6 months ago brought back the same excitement we had when we first saw it all. These pieces are incredible in person - most are hand knit, some in the US, some in Peru. They feel so soft and cozy and the styles are just lovely. They each have their own special details. The whole collection is now in our wardrobe section if you would like to see more <3

We have received a wonderful new collection of paintings by Graham Mears <3 This collection includes depictions of pets, family, home, gardening... a lot around the idea of domesticity. We love Graham's work - there is so much storytelling in the all the layers of paint. You can see this collection now in our home section.
