Brown paper packages... filled with all our favorite things. We've been receiving copious amounts of said packages and it has been a blast unpacking it all. Yesterday we received our favorite coverlets from John Robshaw. We love the way these feel, the way they also look. The hand stitched quilting creates the most wonderful texture- a texture that visually communicates its tactile qualities. And to touch- they are lofty and cozy... they have everything you want to wrap up in. We have the coverlets and standard shams in white cotton voile with white stitching, white voile with sand stitching and a natural cotton chambray with natural stitching. We had a moment this morning to put some textile variations together with these. We love them mixed with vintage Bolivian frazadas, also the polka dot duvets and pillowcases, Belgian velvet linen textiles and throws from Jeanette Farrier. We also think they look great on their own- they are elegant in their simplicity. We highly value pieces that can be used a million different ways and that can also change with you- depending on how you put it together. These pieces have that forever quality <3

We have just returned home from an exciting buying trip in France and are thrilled with the truly special things we found and the meetings we had with some of the creators that we have carried for some time... and also those that are new to us. We love the attention to tradition and beauty through handmade techniques that we find in all the makers we work with from France. It is quite breathtaking- we can't wait for all these beautiful pieces to arrive.
On another note, our shop received some beautiful new things while were away- including these incredible polkadot duvets and more of the polkadot pillowcases. These are hand block printed on cotton. The pillowcases come in blue dot, pink dot and charcoal dot... the duvets in pink dot and blue dot <3

Thank you to all who called, emailed, visited online and came to our sale! It was a lot of fun! Now onto new things for the year to come. We are beyond excited! Introducing our pleated pants in a black cotton/flax herringbone. These have a true high waist with an 11" zipper- we designed these to go all the way to your waist. One of our favorite details is the back pockets- they are wide set with little brown button closures. They have pleats at the front and cuffs at the bottom hem <3 These have a great fit and are really flattering on. Molly wears them here with our peter pan open back shirt tucked in. It lays over itself once tucked in to look like this.

We are sharing here a few things that will be 50% off in our actual shop this weekend. There is the silk tiny gingham shirt by Apunto b.- there is one size medium available. The same shirt comes in a beautiful dusty blue cotton- which will also be 50% off. We have one medium and one large in this color. These shirts have an oversized fit with fitted arms. They look great on- elegant and comfortable. There is also a fantastic reddish orange linen dress from Apunto b. - size small that will be 50% off. We also have various scarves that we have singles left of- these will all be included in the 50% off. The lavender one shown above is silk, the other two are wool.
We keep our online shop small, so we are trying to show here some additional pieces around the shop. Everything in the shop right now- including new shipments will be at least 20% off Friday and Saturday- so if you see anything in the history of our blog, it will be at least 20%. We are also sharing things in our instagram "stories".
