Some beautiful new clothing pieces have arrived! Shown above is a navy blue cashmere sweater with an elbow length sleeve and a black wrap skirt that ties in the front. The fabrics and knits are of incredible quality- they feel truly luxurious. More pics to come...
Some pretty things... a winter white boiled wool shawl- this has an incredible texture which can almost be seen in a photo... handmade brooms and dried arnica. The weather is changing- and the official start of Fall is this Friday! At our house it's a bit of a joke that when the butternut squash starts showing up for dinner, it must be Fall. Well, it has started in our kitchen at least... and there will be a special butternut extravaganza Friday night because we are very excited for the change of season, and a celebration is in order!
Browns and whites with a bit of color. Shown here- quilted bedding in tiny floral and tiny dot prints with a couple of the brown and white frazadas we received last week. We have many with incredible color combinations as usual, but we also love the harder to find frazadas that are mainly brown and white. We were lucky this time to find several with different neutral combinations. It's getting very close to Fall... almost time to add some layers of warmth around the house!

Several vintage Bolivian frazadas from a new batch we just received. The colors, as always, are out of this world! These are made of sheep's wool- they are wonderful used as rugs, throws and blankets. Typically the size is 5' by 5', but they can vary a bit. Every piece is one of a kind and a work of art!
