Tucson incense and candles by Astier de Villatte have arrived back at the shop and are available again! We have restocked them in our gift section online. The Tucson scent was created after our friends from Astier came for a visit and absolutely loved Tucson. They were inspired from their experience here, to create a scent that rendered our city/town/desert. We all love it - it is truly a favorite... not only in our region, but around the world.
Their description of the scent is wonderful -
"Planted in the Arizona desert, surrounded by giant cactuses with amazing shapes, stands Tucson. Wander downtown, along streets lined by colourful houses. Crushed by the heat, take a break in the shadow of a mesquite, watered by a little glass of mezcal. Intoxicating scents of the Far West float in the air: lightly smokey and sweet aromas of wild grasses, parched wood, immortelle flowers, and red earth, burnt by the sun."

Our new Peter Pan Shirts have arrived - this time in navy blue Japanese typewriter cotton. We are happy to get these in for the end of Summer, beginning of Fall :) Also shown above are new cushions by Tensira on the John Derian Dromedary loveseat and a wonderful painting by Graham Mears. The Peter Pan shirts are now in our wardrobe section, all the other goodies are in our shop - not online. If you have any questions, please feel free to call :)

We hope you are all having a wonderful Summer! We have been taking some time to rearrange our shop, and do all the detail work that comes after a big sale. We are excited to now bring some new arrivals to our online shop - starting with our puff dress. We made a small batch of these to round out Summer and begin Fall. This dress is wonderful with sandals and Repetto jazz shoes in the warm weather, and it looks great with boots as Fall begins. It is so fun to wear - it has lots of room and puff sleeves. A detail we love is the four covered buttons at the front. The crisp Japanese typewriter cotton is incredible - it's a cotton we use on many of our pieces. We have added this to our wardrobe section if you would like to see more photos and information :)

Thank you all so much for your orders yesterday! Today our sale continues with 20% off everything in our shop (including an additional 20% off sale items). We have also added a few new things to our sale section this morning. This is a great time to get something special, or to think about gifts... everything is discounted for this brief moment. We do this as a thank you - and because it is more fun this way. If there is something you have been dreaming of and have been waiting to get, it is on sale for two more days :) Some of our favorite pieces that we always try to keep in stock are the wonderful Nathalie Lété scarves shown above and all the beautiful white shirts. These pieces can be worn throughout the seasons, layering in different ways, and they always look great. Just a thought <3 We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
