Description
This beautiful book highlights Georgia O'Keeffe's drawings and watercolors. Between the formative years of 1915 and 1918, O'Keeffe made as many works on paper as she would over the next 40 years. They include landscapes, nudes and series of abstract lines. Her practice turned increasingly towards painting, but works on paper reemerged in the 30s through the 50s. This book accompanies an exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. It brings together the artist's individual works on paper with their contextual series to illuminate O'Keeffe's highly sequential practice.
