Astier de Villatte Incense - Palais de Tokyo

$ 60.00

Description

Known for their ceramics collection, but also working on special projects and collaborations around the world, Benoit Astier de Villatte and Ivan Pericoli, founders of Astier de Villatte, began their scent collection in 2008. In collaboration with Emilie Massad and Françoise Caron, their collection of different scents is inspired by their travels. Their incense is hand made in Japan by the Koh-Shis (masters of aroma) of the island of Awaji. The packaging is so lovely - a most beautiful blue box with gold leaf decorated paper.

This scent is Palais de Tokyo:

 Overlooking the river Seine, like a mysterious starship navigating the mysterious turbulence of artists' imaginations, it dominates the view. A troubling fragrance floats between the raw cement walls of its wide maze-like passageways, where a crowd of zealous and enlightened visitors feverishly gathers: intoxicating wisps of smoky wood, warm skin and metallic vibrations.

125 sticks in each box, each burns for 30 minutes

152 × 63 × 19 mm

Shown on an Astier de Villatte ceramic dish and with an incense holder- these are not included- the dish is available in our shop and the incense holder is available in our online shop under a separate listing.
