Description

A beautiful, full skirt. We designed this as a fun take on our classic tie back skirt. This has a high waist with a flat waistline at the front and a drawstring at the back. There are corozo button/loop closures at the back below the drawstring tie. It has two horizontal panels, joining with a seam at the hip line. This creates a fun silhouette. It has a nice long length, hitting typically at the mid to lower calf. This fabric is a beautiful lightweight Japanese cotton that has a hint of linen and ramie. The color is a natural with blue ticking stripe. It's lined with a light cotton organza. It has side seam pockets and it's constructed with all french seams. We love this with its matching Bon Ruffle Shirt or simply a white tee.

Fit - This is available in 3 sizes - each size has adjustability to go smaller with the drawstring. The important measurements are below - 

small - waist before cinching - 28", length - 31.5"

medium - waist before cinching - 31", length - 32"

large - waist before cinching - 34", length - 32.5"

Bon is our own small collection that we make typically once a year in the Spring. It is one of our true passions and on top of having our shop, we feel fortunate to be able to produce this small collection when we can. We are inspired by shapes created on the body. We imagine a person's reflection in a window as they rush by - and the essence of what is captured there. The silhouette, the posture, the comfort and elegance. We use mostly all Japanese cottons for our collection - we love the quality and we always search for textures that are crisp and sturdy. Our pieces are all finished with French seams for aesthetic reasons and just as importantly - longevity. We wear our pieces a lot - it is important to us that our things are useful, can be worn from day to evening and will last a long time.
