Description
This is such a fun piece! Made of a cupro/polyester blend that has a vintage feel. The colors are inverse on the back side. It has a finely puckered texture and is medium weight. This fabric has structure and holds its shape well, which works beautifully with the shape and style of the design. *a little note on this fabric - it's made in Como, Italy by an independent textile maker that specializes in synthetic fibers. They create many specialty finishes that are full of character. The fabric was the starting point with this dress as with all Eleph pieces. This has a rounded neckline, short sleeves and gathering along the front and back. The length is nice and long, hitting around the lower calf. The hem has a nice curve, making the back slightly longer than the front. There are side seam pockets. We love this polkadot pattern with the black watch plaid stole by Rory William Docherty or a brightly colored scarf or socks.
Fit - This fits oversized, with intended room. The important measurements are below -
small - underarm to underarm - 21", length - 48"
medium - underarm to underarm - 22", length - 49"
large - underarm to underarm - 23", length - 50"
64% cupro, 46% polyester, made in Italy
Eleph is derived from L'elephant - the elephant, known for its strength and goodness. From this name and inspiration comes the ethos and direction of a joyful collection that brings out the strength of materials with a sense of ease and quirkiness. The designs are strong, fun and authentic. The designers of Eleph many times use left over materials, which is part of their effort towards a sustainable way of making. We love this beautiful and bold collection, and are so happy to welcome it to our shop this Spring!
