Description

This is such a wonderful skirt, and in black velvet, it's quite something. It has a very flattering fit and silhouette with a double tiered construction. This has an elastic waist and fans out from the waist to a second panel that has gathering all around.  It has side seam pockets. The length hits typically at the mid calf. The cotton is a medium weight high density cotton. We love this with the white Merced Shirt and we also love it with a black cashmere sweater.

Fit - This is fitting on the small side with the initial measurements. We think it's easy to size up one size.  The important measurements are below - 

small - waist - 26" with a few additional inches when stretching elastic, length - 30"

medium - waist - 28" with a few additional inches when stretching elastic, length - 30.5"

large - waist - 30" with a few additional inches when stretching elastic, length - 31"

Fabiana Pigna designs from the sensibility of her latin roots and her love of Japanese design. She is based in Los Angeles and works with her husband to create this beautiful collection of clothing.
