A beautiful shirt and a signature style by Rory William Docherty - the Painters Shirt. This version is made of a super soft Japanese brushed medium weight cotton with a herringbone weave. The color is a lemon and brown plaid. It has multiple ties down the front that you can either leave open or tie up to the neckline. It has an easy, relaxed fit with a bit of room. It has two pleats at the back for extra room. The length hits typically at the upper thigh and is lower at the back. The cuffs have snap closures. A stunning piece that we love with the Stripe Holiday Skirt. It's also really beautiful with jeans and flats.

extra small - underarm to underarm - 23", length (front) - 25", length (back) - 27"

Rory William Docherty is a British born New Zealand designer who merges the poetic with the practical in his designs. He blends grace and drama with easy, everyday pieces - a combination that really speaks to us. Rory's designs are focused on the creative process - they begin with drawings that evolve into paper maquettes and from there are enlarged into fluid and sculptural shapes. Many times, cherished silhouettes will come back in new fabrications. We fell in love with Rory's Painter's Blouse a couple years ago and have watched his evolution since. We are now so happy to bring his wonderful collection to our shop!
