Description
A beautiful jacket made of an ultra-soft wool and baby alpaca in carob & espresso pinstripe and lined with American cotton woven in Pennsylvania. This has a two button closure with an optional button at the collar. The buttons are made of Italian horn. It has a front patch pockets, a single chest pocket and an interior patch pocket. The collar has a beautiful peak lapel and there are vents at the cuffs. The tailoring is exceptional, it fits beautifully with two front darts creating a feminine touch through the waist. The sleeves and shoulder drop remain relaxed for ease of movement. This looks stunning with its matching Pleated Trouser, and it's great with jeans as well!
The reference for this style was a men's jacket from the early 20th century with the handwritten name "J.P. Fetherston, Aug. 1918" on the inner pocket. Sam mentions Kate Hepburns enduring approach to tailoring as part of his inspiration as well - we definitely see that in this piece!
