Description

Inspired by a 19th-century British military jacket, this style is relaxed and softly structured. It's made of a rich midnight herringbone wool and baby alpaca woven by Magee in Donegal Ireland. It's lined with an American cotton woven in Pennsylvania. This is designed to have room for layering and is warm enough to wear as an outer layer. This feels cozy and elegant at the same time. We love it with its matching workhorse trousers or with jeans.

Fit - This is a unisex piece, fitting true to size with soft tailoring. Size 1 is like a women's size small, 2 = women's medium, etc. It's best to go by the measurements below - 

1 - underarm to underarm - 20", shoulder - 17.25", length - 26.5"

2 - underarm to underarm - 21", shoulder - 18", length  - 27.5"

3 - underarm to underarm - 22", shoulder - 18.75", length - 28.5"

4 - underarm to underarm - 23", shoulder - 19.5", length - 29.5"

Samuel Snider creates his beautiful collection with deep knowledge and inspiration from 20th century workwear. He is guided by the belief that "elegance lies within utility" and you can really feel this foundation in his pieces. His process is one of thorough care, constant refinement and dedication to his proclivity towards garments of another time. Sam works in his studio in New York with a small team to pattern, cut, sew and refine his pieces before they then head to New York's Garment District to be produced.
