Beautiful earrings made of hand carved turquoise and ebony stones with a centered diamond set in 18k gold. These are a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship, with every part meticulously created by hand. The process begins with Susan sketching or cutting the individual shapes, often resembling collage pieces that are part of her signature art collection. From there, each component is entrusted to a master carver, who shapes the stones with precision—entirely by sight. The final assembly is done by a multi-generational goldsmith, who carefully balances and joins the pieces to ensure the earrings hang perfectly from the ear, like tiny sculptures. This pair is unique in its combination of the turquoise with the ebony and diamond. Truly stunning.

Susan Hable's jewelry collection represents a journey of art, craft, and tradition. From concept to the finished pieces, Susan's process is meticulous and incredibly thoughtful. We spent some time on the phone as Susan is a shop friend from years ago and she explained the adventurous and thorough process she goes through to make this special collection. There is the designing which includes creating shapes with drawing and cutting paper... there is traveling to India where raw stones are sourced and then carved. It's a process of a lot of love and care - and the results are simply beautiful. We are so happy to be able to share it with you!
