Paintings by Graham Mears
New works by Graham Mears have been added to our home section online :) We love Graham's work - his pieces feel to us almost like the time warp your mind jumps into to envision his historical references. The modern abstraction, and the pointed realistic detail - a combination that creates such a vivid narrative. Most of the paintings we added are part of his "Stubbs" series - in reference to 18th century painter George Stubbs. They are wonderful ~ you can see more about the pieces and Graham in our online shop :)

The most lovely cards from Minnieolga have just arrived and we have put them in our valentines section online this morning! These cards are all hand blockprinted and are the artwork of Lauren McIntosh. We just love Lauren's cards - they are like giving a work of art that can be put on the wall to forever admire. These heart cards and new big kissy lips cards are instant favorites :) We also have the packs of 12 lip cards thatmuke wonderful valentines to send to all your friends :)

Valentines treats <3 We are wrapping them like this :) We are happy to send gifts directly for you - you can put in the receiver's address for the shipping address and leave us a note at checkout with a message you would like on a card - we will wrap your gifts like those above and send them to your loved one with your message. The spot to leave a note appears at checkout on the right hand side - it is important that your note is on your order vs. an email to us after because we ship quickly and we could miss your email. Valentines Day is so fun to celebrate. We think of Julia Childs organizing a dinner party where everyone was required to wear a big red heart on their chest... or the valentines she sent out of her and her husband in the bath tub and the inscription "wish you were here" <3 It's a fun holiday to be creative, to make special cards or give gifts of pretty things... all in the name of LOVE! We love it! And we really enjoyed putting together a collection of special things that we think make great gifts for friends and loved ones. We have just put up most of this collection in our online shop. The hand embroidered tablecloths and napkins are one of our favorite things - imagine the sweetest dinner with these pieces as the backdrop. The napkins also work really well with the white linen tablecloths that are in our home section... or a white tablecloth you might have at home. We will be receiving a few more valentines cards from Minnieolga and Riversong... so keep an eye out towards the end of the week for those.
