Not to mention pieces of quality last a lifetime and are timeless - as seen in this vintage collection of J. Morgan Puett- works from a visionary’s eye and execution. Forever pieces, only getting better with time. Thank you for all who have supported this endeavor so far- to help the Madrean Archipelago Wildlife Center. Our proceeds from the sale of these pieces have gone straight into the careful hands of those working to create wildlife education and rehabilitation ❤️ it’s an awesome project- a giant thank you!!

As the Madrean Center says, "be a voice for wildlife!" This center is located very close to the Mexico border where wildlife habitats are being threatened by multiple human factors... as in many parts of the world. We are eager to help with their education and rehabilitation efforts <3

We watched the sun come up... there were just a few moments of this special light <3 Heather wears the drawstring dress from the previous post, the iconic bird jacket (tail feathers!!), and a silk linen jacket- all by J. Morgan Puett. As mentioned before, we are offering this vintage collection on behalf of Madrean Archipelago Wildlife Center in an effort to support their cause <3 J. Morgan Puett was a visionary- a special designer with an eye all her own. It's a rare thing- we wish she was still designing clothes, but she carries on her artwork as a creative producer in Pennsylvania. We are lucky to be graced by the presence of this collection in our shop <3. Beautiful clothing for an important cause <3

Oh hooray it’s Fall! We are happy to commence the official start of the season with an offering of a special collection from a dear friend of ours- Kate Scott ... this collection is beloved to Kate- it is a series of vintage J. Morgan Puett pieces. Kate was the manager at the first J. Morgan Puett store in NY- a completely original space with handmade clothing that was truly special, as you likely know. Kate now lives in Canelo, AZ and she has created the Madrean Archipelago Wildlife Center. These photos were taken close to where Kate lives- in the rolling grasslands of Sonoita. We arrived to this spot just as the sun was coming up, and also as the grass was just about to turn golden from it's rare moment of green. It was so beautiful and it felt fitting in working with Kate - with her style and Morgan Puett's as well.
Kate is selling her J. Morgan Puett collection to support the Madrean Center’s efforts ... from Kate- “The mission of the Archipelago Wildlife Center is to build pathways of compassionate co-existence between people and wildlife through actions of environmental education, wildlife conservation and raptor rehabilitation. In heartfelt gratitude we will walk as if every step is a prayer and be present with love and compassion for each other as people and for all Mother Earth’s relations. Please help us reach our goals to build our center! Be a voice for wildlife!” ... 🌿 we are offering Kate’s collection through the shop- proceeds go to the center. We start off sharing one of our personal favorites- this silk linen dress with a drawstring up the front, adjustable straps with a tie in the back.
