The quiet of the country is rejuvenating. We love to go on long drives and let our thoughts go, where they can be open to taking on new directions. We did this recent shoot about an hour south of Tucson where we never tire of exploring. It's made all the more fun now as more family has put some roots in this area. We took with us some of our favorite pieces for Spring by Bunon, Fabiana Pigna, A'court, Repetto, and our own small collection. We have such fun putting pieces together in ways that speak to us, mixing these wonderful independent designers' work with others. This process starts when we're buying - we imagine different things together and many times we imagine a setting. We let that rest and as collections begin to roll in 6 months later, these ideas resurface. It's so fun when we can then take things on the road and play with them a bit.
We hope to honor each designer's work - as so much love and care goes into each collection. Anyways, we hope you enjoy the photos from this recent shoot - my mom, Jettie and I had a lot of fun creating it <3

Summer Days!
Jettie wears the Bunon Pleated Collar Shirt and A'Court Butterfield Skirt in the first photo, a Les Indiennes Monique Tablecloth in the second, the Bunon Double Breasted Jacket, Bon Puff Skirt and Repettos Zizi's in the third and the Ichi Anitquités Plaid Linen Jacket and matching pants in the last photo. Summer days are just ahead! This weekend feels like the shift to quieter days, trips on the horizon, outdoor dinners and a lighter way of dressing. Sometimes it's as easy as something to throw over your bathing suit - we love the pieces that can go from this to an evening gathering. Dresses can be a great summer staple. We show the Fabiana Pigna Asun Dress above. It has a great easy shape, while also being very versatile. We love it with the sleeves rolled and the front unbuttoned a bit. It has a perfect length, hitting at the lower calf. Jettie wears it in white and we also have it in a fun and bright azalea. Another dress that is great for summer is the Manuelle Guibal Linen Slip On Dress. We have this available in three colors - milk, pool blue and camp green. This is a piece that's easy for traveling, day trips, pool/beach excursions... and to then move into evening with a great necklace and flats. <3 There are lots of great summer pieces in our wardrobe section - we have had so much fun sharing it all with you as it has come in over the last few months.
