We are so excited about all these beautiful hand painted glasses we just received. We have a new batch of the clear glasses with painted flowers and this year we found the wonderful new addition of the green glasses with big painted flowers. We love all of these styles mixed with the colorful gingham napkins, white tablecloths and Astier de Villatte dishes. This all goes together so beautifully. We have added the glasses to our online shop where you can also find the napkins and white linen tablecloths in many sizes <3

We are wishing everyone a wonderful weekend. Many will be celebrating Easter on Sunday and it will be a different celebration than usual as we are all staying at home to do our part in taking care of our families, neighbors, communities.. and our world as a whole. We hope you enjoy the holiday anew - perhaps with more meaning because of what we are all experiencing together. We personally look forward to cooking, to a quiet day... to just appreciating the moment. We are sharing a picture from a series we put together last year in collaboration with our friend, photographer Krysta Jabczenski and Heather Walker. Heather hides like an Easter egg amongst the blooming Palo Verde tree. It was a beautiful day and we were so excited to take photos amongst these incredible trees that are exploding with color in the Spring.
I keep thinking about the character the experience we are all going through will build and who we will be coming out of it. I am currently reading Martha Graham's autobiography and her opening page makes me think of all of this. She writes,
I am a dancer.
I believe we learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same. In each it is the performance of a dedicated precise set of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes shape of achievement, a sense of one's being, a satisfaction of spirit... - Martha Graham
While all our daily practices have been disrupted, the new lives we are leading will contribute to a new direction... and hopefully a new spirit - individually and collectively. We really believe that.

We have just added some beautiful new pajamas to our online shop and we wanted to point out two different sets by the same designer and describe the differences. The first photo shows the classic pajama set. This has 3/4 length sleeves with front pockets at the waistline. The pants are ankle length and have a drawstring. These have a closer fit than the second pair shown above. This style is meant to be a true classic fit that is not too loose. You can also size up in these for a cute fit that has a bit more room. The oversized pajamas in the second photo fit as described in their title - with room. The top has full length sleeves and a chest pocket and it buttons all the way up. The pants have a drawstring closure and the length is full length. Both pairs are wonderful- it's a question of fit details and what you prefer. We are including a photo of the wonderful deerskin moccasins because we could live in these with the pajamas - especially right now! We have updated our quantities of moccasins as well :) There are a couple other pajamas we have added - you can see more in our gift section.

Classic and forever, we just love pieces that will last in style and durability. We love these qualities for obvious reasons, and also because the individual can bring their own style to such pieces. We have had a request from a sweet client to share with you some gardening books that we enjoy - we hope to get to that early next week :) In the meantime, we are adding as much as possible to our online shop- we are receiving some incredible pieces right now :)
