Baskets, bee skeps, pendant lights from Astier de Villatte. The combination of woven baskets with fresh white walls and white ceramics feels rejuvenating, fresh and warm. It's interesting to think about color combinations.... but also texture combinations. Baskets have such a rich tactility- when they are mixed with the smoothness of porcelain or clean white walls- the result is more than the summation of the parts- creating a feeling that is many things at once. Clean, yet having depth and warmth- for us, this is the type of space that feels good to be in.

Beautiful pink dresses... unfortunately the striped guy is sold out, but we have one left of the solid pink on the left and shirt versions of both solid and striped. Pink looks incredible on most people- bringing out the rosiness in your cheeks :)

A morning for moving things around and playing with color. We are in love with all the new John Derian pieces that have arrived. The pink florals are so stunning! We can imagine a room with a pink floral John Derian plate, the beautiful John Robshaw white cotton voile quilt and a beautiful pink cotton blanket. so fresh!
For friends in NY- John opens his 4th store- this one in the West Village... tomorrow!! Go visit... it looks beautiful from the pictures we've seen. Can't wait to go the next time we are there :)

Aren't these just beautiful!!? We feel so honored to have the work of such visionaries- one being John Derian- in our shop. We love John's work, we love him as a person and all those who work with him. When one can create such beauty, become well known and stay humble, generous and kind... that's a special thing. He's got it!
We are hanging these pretty floral pieces today- I can't wait to see them up... so off to work! We hope you are all having a lovely Spring day!
