Wishing all you moms a happy happy mother's day tomorrow! My partner, who is away touring with his music, just sent me this old photo of our sweet Lucien with his friends Charlotte and Violet. Wow! I have so many pictures of him, but this one really struck me- and for some reason it made me think that I hope he is as fond of me as I am of my mom. My mom and I are not in the habit of taking photos together (eeee...) but I hope to find an old one to share. When my brothers and I were growing up, she made the best Christmas cards... I hope to do a little digging and share one of those. She is the reason we have our shop together... and she is just amazing. You never hear her voice through the internet (she doesn't go near a computer or phone that texts) ... but everything I say is always coming from both of us... so from both my mom and I- we hope you have a lovely day tomorrow celebrating either your mom or being a mom yourself... or both!! <3

Our online shop switch has begun :) The beautiful Eliurpi hats are there :) We have seen many people try these on and they are irresistibly stunning!

More of the wonderful silver Repetto jazz shoes have just arrived and the quantities online have been updated. We are a day late in starting our new online selection... but these will also be included in the new mix, as long as they last :) These are a great uniform piece- the silver goes with everything! <3

We have put together some gift ideas for Mother's Day, which is a week from this coming Sunday. We'll list below :) Everything is available in our shop- unfortunately, not in our online shop, but we can help by phone and email if you can't come into the shop. We will be shipping Mother's Day goodies Monday and Tuesday to ensure it gets to you in time!
1. Dishes and platters by Astier de Villatte, wooden spoon, gingham napkin and handprinted flower glass.
2. Handblown glasses (these are new to the shop and they are so beautiful), more gingham napkins
3. Tablecloths and dishtowels made of beautiful, lightweight khadi cotton.
4. Ceramic tea and coffee cups, khadi cotton table cloth, honey pot and glass citrus juicer with a measuring cup
5. Gardening tools and twine- made in England.
6. The best pajamas- available in white and floral. There are also night chemises and slips.
7. Los Poblanos lavender salve, linen wash cloth and a body brush.
8. A favorite denim chore coat- this is great for everyday- it's so easy to wear and all the pockets come in handy. Babouche slippers in denim blue.
9. Beautiful socks from Bonne Maison- these come in the most wonderful colors and patterns!
