A morning for moving things around and playing with color. We are in love with all the new John Derian pieces that have arrived. The pink florals are so stunning! We can imagine a room with a pink floral John Derian plate, the beautiful John Robshaw white cotton voile quilt and a beautiful pink cotton blanket. so fresh!
For friends in NY- John opens his 4th store- this one in the West Village... tomorrow!! Go visit... it looks beautiful from the pictures we've seen. Can't wait to go the next time we are there :)

Aren't these just beautiful!!? We feel so honored to have the work of such visionaries- one being John Derian- in our shop. We love John's work, we love him as a person and all those who work with him. When one can create such beauty, become well known and stay humble, generous and kind... that's a special thing. He's got it!
We are hanging these pretty floral pieces today- I can't wait to see them up... so off to work! We hope you are all having a lovely Spring day!

We have just unpacked a new batch of seat cushions and bench cushions... just in time for Spring parties! The seat cushions are 16" by 16" and the bench cushions are 26" by 54". They are stuffed with kapok which is from the inside of a large seed pod that grows in West Africa. 100% natural fibers. One of the things we love about them is that they are not overstuffed- which seems to be a hard quality to find these days. They come in ticking, stripes and a tiny black and cream check. They are available in our online shop... I have just updated the quantities :)

The mot beautiful silk scarves in these incredible colors are now available at the shop. We show them here with some favorite vintage frazadas from Bolivia and pieces from our own small collection- the white raglan shirt and high waisted pleated pants. We are so excited about these scarves- they are truly special.
