We have some really (really!!) wonderful new clothing pieces for Spring and Summer. Everything is so light and airy, classic, easy to wear and also easy to dress up or down. These pieces have everything we look for in clothing. A shift from Fog Linen is shown in the first picture. This would be so great with a big hat, flats and a straw bag. The second picture shows a slip (or dress) from Makié and another perfectly simple tunic from Fog Linen. A white linen top and handkerchief (tied as a scarf) are shown in the third picture. We love the idea of a solid colored linen scarf and these handkerchiefs from Fog Linen do the trick! The fourth picture shows an incredible blouse and gathered skirt from Makié. These are made of cotton voile and they are indigo dyed- the color is so rich! The fifth picture has the same Makié top and linen pants from Loup Charmant. These pants fit high waisted and hit between mid calf and ankle. They look so great with a big blouse tucked in and either flats or a great heeled clog. All these pieces feel great for this time of year!

We love textiles and try to keep this section full in our store. These printed cotton throws above are some of our new favorites. They are made in India of a sturdy woven cotton. We love the pink small floral throw with the indigo pieces we have in at the moment. The three shown in the second picture have fantastic color combinations- they can be seen in our online shop… here.

What a beauty!! It's so nice to walk into the shop every morning and see what's blooming. The colors are incredible!! We are working away on our new mix of things for our online shop… it has taken a little longer than expected to find the perfect spot in our new space with the right light for this purpose, so we are a little delayed. We've found it though, so expect new goodies next week!

We recently received a stunning new collection of John Derian pieces. Shown above is part of a wall we hung at the front of our store. We love the colors and floral imagery. We also just got in some beautiful new textiles, some of which are shown in the second picture. Cotton gingham and floral throws… perfect for Spring and Summer!
