Ideas for Spring tables <3 Astier de Villatte ceramics look beautiful with many different variations... various cotton tablecloths in ginghams, and solids with striped edges. We love it with different glassware- it looks great this time of year with the hand painted flower glasses, and the mouth blown glasses from Syria (shown in the second picture). The Astier candlesticks look wonderful with different colored tapers... we imagine all different colors running down the table. Also shown are sweet surprise balls for the Easter holiday. Mix and match... and put it all together.

We are thinking of Spring tables! The warm weather calls for dinner outside, lighter colors, florals.... and if we think of the Easter holiday, bunnies and sheep make it all so festive <3 We are excited for the things we are getting in for the season. There are wonderful textiles, napkins (the style with lemons above is so pretty! and the blue and white styles are always wonderful!) colorful taper candles, the cast iron sheep shown above, handprinted flower glasses, and we have a large batch of Astier de Villatte ceramics that are on their way to us!

The pieces above are not in our online shop, but we are happy to help with any questions or order inquiries <3

Time has been flying by so quickly that we didn't realize our 15 year marker had passed us by yesterday! We celebrate all those years in business... and if we were to count the years when I would help my mom while at university, it would be 20 <3 My mom started her shop all those years ago. She found a tiny space and sold sweet home things and a lot of pretty things for the garden. She had chickens at that first store and many of our longest clients remember them- Henny and Penny :) When I joined her, we combined our interests and brought clothing into the shop. We moved locations and that unfortunately meant taking Henny and Penny home. They retired! Our new space brought new ideas and a lot of excitement. We have since moved once more- 4 years ago into our favorite space. We have ridden so many different waves and have been through all sorts of different moments.... all while feeling like we are so lucky to get to do what we love every day. Thank you for all your amazing support throughout the years... my mom and I talk daily about how fortunate we are to know the most wonderful people on all sides of our business. Truly- our daily interactions - whether they are online, in the shop... at a show or in some foreign place on the hunt, are truly the best! We love you! Thank you!!

A couple more pieces by Pip Squeak. We thought this coat was so wonderful that we got it in a few colors. There is the natural linen in the previous post about Pip Squeak pieces... then there is the black linen shown above and a navy blue Japanese cotton. The Japanese cotton version takes on a completely different identity from the linen version. It has a more structured feel... the adjectives that come to mind are handsome and sharp. The cotton has a tiny bit of stretch in it for comfort. We also love the black linen of course. You can never go wrong with black <3 Also shown is a wonderful dress for summer. This is a piece we could see being worn daily. Throw it on, put on your espadrilles or flats, and off you go! It is made of a navy blue Japanese cotton. The shape is easy and comfortable with room for movement. You can layer this with a piece over the top or underneath... an elegant, easy piece!
